After my return from India I spent about a year in London (1954-55), photographing mainly on assignment, for magazines such as LIFE and PICTURE POST, but also doing some speculation work in the streets, parks and pubs of the city. In 1956 I moved to Paris, but in the course of the following years I often returned to England for short periods. A selection from my photographs of London has been exhibited at the MUSÉE CARNAVALET, in Paris, in 1996-97, ("Paris-Londres, London-Paris").
