These
photographs were in fact part of my assignment for REVUE (see:"Here
and There"). If I show them here as a separate series, it's because
the stop in India, for me, was very different from the rest of that journey
unlike the other cities on my itinerary, Delhi and Calcutta were not places
that I discovered, but places to which I came back. It was a confrontation
not only with these cities, but also with the photographer and the person
I had been ten years earlier, at the time of my first stay in India. |
