FIGARO MADAME is the weekly fashion supplement to LE FIGARO, the conservative French daily. The magazine is aimed at the upper middle class, which in France is often described by the acronym BCBG ("bon chic bon genre"). This may explains why MADAME FIGARO doesn't leave much room for experimental photography - tough I must admit that while I worked for them I didn't mind this, having become myself rather sedate at the time.
